TROODA FOREST AUTHORITY. MOUFLONS

Cyprus Agrin (mouflon) is a subspecies of wild sheep found only in Cyprus. Due to their uniqueness and rarity, animals are considered a symbol of Cyprus. Cypriot legislation defines the Cypriot mouflon as a strictly protected subspecies requiring strict protection. The mouflon is the largest animal in Cyprus, and there are just over 8,000 of them on the island itself. Today, mouflons can be seen in the Paphos and Troodos mountain areas. One of these places is the Trooda Forest Authority, the territory of which has created natural conditions for these animals to live and reproduce. You can also visit mouflons!
