Cypriot bananas are smaller and sweeter than Ecuadorian bananas, which we are used to seeing in Lithuanian supermarkets. The banana ripening season in Cyprus starts already in December. Can you imagine how delicious it is to eat a fresh banana straight from under the tree?
When visiting Paphos, you will easily discover the largest banana plantations. It is enough to go just a few kilometers from the city and you will see an infinity of banana plantations.
